An homage to the Midway arcade game, Rampage.

Lab technician, Kevin (our hero?), has been exposed to an unknown substance that has turned him into a monster and is now on a rampage through the streets of his hometown.

Destroy all the buildings while eating all you can but watch out for bad food and everyone that is out to kill you! Buildings and items are randomly generated, so keep playing to get to first place on the leaderboard!

Controls

KeyboardController
Move/ClimbWASDLeft stick
JumpSpace"A" button (south)
Punch/GrabERight trigger
SprintShiftLeft trigger
PauseESCStart button

Known issues:

On WebGL, there is an issue with the Game Over screen not coming up at the end of the game - bring up the pause menu and click "Rage Quit" to get to the Game Over screen at any time.

Hint: The quickest way to get down from a building is to jump.

Great fun, I think the smaller buildings made it a bit difficult to go up and smash the itended side of the build, on the smaller one it was also possible to hit both sides from where you’re hanging.

I was hoping it would be possible to jump over to hang on the otherside of the building :P

Thanks! Yeah, I was mentally done with the character controller at some point (fighting with the Unity 3rd-person controller) and also really wanted to climb roofs - I may add that after voting.

Very cool, makes me wish I hadn't missed the old game. Had trouble with the 'E' button (bit awkward on keyboard), but the gameplay was solid. Nice work on the UI too!

Good call, I know "E" is a traditional "interact" key, but something on the right ("Enter"?) would be better.

This was a great homage to Rampage, and well done in a short game jam time frame. Impressive and a quick bit of fun!

Nice! Been a long time since I played the old Rampage game, but this is pretty close. I had trouble with the small thin building, and it's a little hard to get on the buildings, but overall it works pretty good. nice job!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I had so many problems getting the character controller right, and it still needs some tweaking :)
